Afterlife of Billy Fingers: How My Bad-Boy Brother Proved to Me There's Life After Death by Annie Kagan

2.0

“Never assume that anyone is fortunate or unfortunate because of the way things appear to be. Fortune or misfortune is just a human way of measuring.”

If I could weed out the journey, listen to it for the deep connection it was trying to give, I’d have really enjoyed it. But the neediness of the author, her deep fear that no one would believe her, cheapened the story for me.

His calling her Princess, My Darling, Little One and so forth was a bit nauseating.

Billy’s message itself was very beautiful.

“I think each soul has its own particular qualities and when you’ve been really close to someone, you recognize their soul no matter what form it takes”.
