I really really wanted to like this book. I actually finished the entire trilogy because people kept saying “it gets better” and was so disappointed. The plot is a bit confusing and slow, idk why people are so obsessed with Jacks and Eva, I felt very “meh” about their whole thing. I am generally pretty generous in my ratings and love romantasy (even YA romantasy) so I thought this would be a great book for me but I was trudging through it the whole time, waiting for it to be over or for things to pick up and “get better”. I feel alone in being a hater of this trilogy, but I genuinely feel like I wasted my time reading it.
