The Bomber Mafia: A Dream, a Temptation, and the Longest Night of the Second World War by Malcolm Gladwell

3.0

This is a truly incredible story. Like Malcolm Gladwell, I really truly can’t believe this chapter of World War II isn’t taught alongside every other major WWII historical record, a la Hiroshima, Pearl Harbor, etc. I’m giving it 3 stars only because it’s a whole lot of war, and for that reason I should have saved this book for a different time in my own life. If I was being objective, the (audio)book probably deserves at least 4 stars.
