i am crying. i am sobbing. i am screaming.
every single book in the city watch series seems to just say "look at these people. look at how fucked up they are. they're filled with hatred and greed and general bad things. and look how good they can be anyway. look at how good people want to be. look at it. and bask in it." and goddamn if that isn't a message i couldn't read fucking over and over again. right as i finished feet of clay i quite literally started screaming and hugging and shaking my roommate. this book is so, so incredible, filled with pratchett's...pratchettness and with plotlines that just make you wanna keep on reading and never stop (proven by the fact that i read this entire thing in two days and wouldn't put it down even when walking or climbing up stairs). please read it now.
