The Witcher, Vol. 6: Witch's Lament by Vanesa Del Rey, Bartosz Sztybor

4.0

Note: I received a copy of this book for free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Don't come at me FTC.
Witch's Lament has a change in art style from previous books that looks chunky, aggressive, and scratched into the pages. It's rough and has a little less detail but it does a great job at conveying the nightmarish mood of the story and leaves room for your imagination to find more horror within it. It's very effective at conveying Geralt's state of mind throughout the story and the panel work is excellent at shepherding your eyes along the page. The story itself is worthy of sitting in the Witcher canon and I won't spoil any of it.
