This is a horror novel wearing a chick lit novel's skin. It starts out innocently enough, with a group of old college buddies getting together to reconnect, except the reason for the reunion is because one of them just resurfaced after going missing and being assumed dead for two years. The horror builds slowly behind the scenes of female friendship and drama before finally spilling over in the latter half of the story. It's incredibly satisfying once everything explodes.
