Brotherhood by Mike Chen

listen, i loved mill. i loved ruug. i loved the two seconds padmé was there. i loved cody’s .1 second. i loved the obvious build-up to ahsoka, as anakin learns to handle mill. i thought it was interesting to see jedi from other perspectives—to see them as frightening, freakishly fast soldiers.

but… the descriptive writing was extremely repetitive. sometimes even confusing. there’s too much “inside joke” type shit (sand, aggressive negotiations, etc). i don’t think anakin & obi-wan’s way of butting heads was written very well.

this book was a little too long for the story it was trying to tell…
