Sorrow and Bliss
by Meg Mason
I generally don't know how to feel about this book.
I really struggled with the first half, and then all of a sudden it picked up and I read over 100 pages in a day.
This book is written in short bursts and has chapters in the past and present. The book is extremely well written. However, I just couldn't get into it. It also annoyed me that Ingrid's children's names were never announced - but maybe this is to do with the twist.
The author also makes the decision not to name Martha's condition , this bothered w at first but I respect the authors decision.
