It took me a while, but I finished the entire Lord of the Rings series!
This final book was really good! Each character goes up against a mountain of hardship, all created to hurt them especially, and must fight to not only save themselves but everyone they care about. And as darkness spreads, our heroes need to keep faith in themselves, and have hope for a brighter future.
Also I love that we end on a scene with Sam, as he has almost become the main protagonist for the story.
