Seven of Hearts is a standalone small town romance by Maggie Gates and it is such a beautiful story.
Logan Solomon is a man on a mission not to screw up before he turns 30. Leah Holloway is vibrant, colorful, and full of life - all things Logan didn’t know he was missing.
I’m not typically the biggest fan of surprise pregnancy tropes but if they were all executed as well as Maggie does in Seven of Hearts I would be a convert. The circumstances that lead to the surprise pregnancy feel very authentic. Maggie does a phenomenal job of navigating the emotions and anxiety that come about with an unplanned pregnancy. It was an honor to watch Logan and Leah grow both as people and together as a couple and eventually mom and dad. I would definitely recommend this precious story to any small town romance lover even if you are typically on the fence when it comes to surprise pregnancies.
