3.5, not quite a 4. Very interesting worldbuilding and concept. Unfortunately, I never really cared too much about Cal or Suzanna. There are a lot of pacing issues; probably 150 pages too long. I'm still interested in reading Imajica. Dark fantasy, with some body horror.
