The Perfectionists by Sara Shepard

4.0

Being a sucker for the Pretty Little Liars series I, of course, enjoyed this book. It really is nothing new, and is pretty similar to PLL (pervy teachers included). The book doesn't have much depth, but that's kind of what I liked about it. I was able to read it in just two days. It follows five very different high school girls who realize they all have one thing is common, their hate for the most popular boy in school. They devise a plan to prank him, but soon after he turns up dead. Now they're worried that they will get in trouble for his murder. Just like in PLL they have to keep everything secret and are viewed as suspects. At first I had a difficult time keeping all of the characters straight, but it didn't take too long before I became familiar with them. I was disappointed that the book had no resolution. I'm worried that the series will drag on and no information will really ever be revealed.
