It wasn't bad, but it could have been a lot better. I felt like the exchange of:
"I'm a monster"
"No you're not."
"I don't deserve you."
"But I love you."
got to be a bit repetitive at times, especially since all of his monster tendencies happened before the book started. It started to feel empty by the end of the book.
The smut was good, but there needed to be more of it. Extra points for Psyche being plus sized and loving it.
