I liked this for the flawless prose, the originality of thought and unpredictability. However the pacing was killing me. I am not a gamer anymore, but I have played a couple of games at various points in my life, so I was really intrigued by the entire gaming talk.
Sam and Sadie had a very imperfect but interesting kind of friendship. Sometimes, I felt that Sam was more of a friend to her than she was to him, but very quickly the tides would change and I would start to believe that it’s the other way around. In the end, I think that they were simply a perfect pair for each other as friends.
