This is the most intense Ali Hazelwood I’ve ever read. Omg. I’m not a fan of Pen. She ruined an important moment and that is unforgivable. That confrontation could have happened after the ceremony. The main character had been struggling through injury and PTSD, and in her most triumphant moment a supposed best friend undermines her in front of everyone? Didn't like how fast that was resolved just to finish the book. Despite that, it was still a fun read. The plot pulled me in and Ali Hazelwood's voice remains one of my favorites.
