Ring for Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse

2.0

2.5 stars. This is not my favorite read. While I was initially excited for a change of pace and a Bertie Wooster-less read, it truly did not pan out. Jeeves was his usual unflappable self, but Bertie was still present, he just had a different name (unfortunately). While the humor is still there in this read, what ultimately tanked the book for my was Rory/Roderick. I could not STAND him-I wasn't sure how I was supposed to digest him, was he truly an idiot, playing at being an idiot, or just a callow asshole?

I can't recommend this book to anybody, not even fans of the series. This one was a BIG disappointment.
