The Perfect Lie by Jo Spain

3.0

When you can’t trust the service sworn to serve to protect, You can’t trust anyone!

Erin moved across the world when her life fell apart. The loss of her sister ripped a hole in heart and Erin started to fill it when she met Danny. After a whirlwind romance Danny and Erin get married. Their life is perfect, well that’s what’s Erin thought.

That is until one morning Erin answers the door to Ben, Danny’s detective colleague while Behind them Danny jumps to his death out the forth floor window. Over the next 18 months we start to uncover that Erin’s been charged with her husbands Murder and the man she married isn’t really who he says he is! The truth comes out with a bang and Erin realises the perfect life was built on lies.

This book was such a wild ride. You have multiple timelines overlapping to tell the story of then, when Danny died and now! I didn’t see it coming until it hit me! Bit of a slow burn that all falls into place at the end.
