Before I Met You by Lisa Jewell
4.0

wow .. just wow !
what can i say about this book ? how do i even start ?
that was definitely different than what I've been reading lately.

i would've give in it 5 just because of john brightly, john was one hell of a perfect character. i was always sharing his interacts with betty on twitter. i loved loved loved loved him and lisa did him justice. now i'm gonna cry because i can't find me one like john brightly and the fact that he's gonna stay fictional breaks my heart.
it took me a really really long time to finish this book, no it didn't bore me
and i don't know why, cause lately i can finish a book in 2 days but not this one
i think i've had this for 2 months something now ?
i've been reading through classes and spare time, whenever i could.
i have so many feelings for this book that i don't know how to start, what to say or how to describe it ! i mean it's just so perfect in so many ways. i wanted to give it a 5 stars but then i remembered the things that annoyed me through out this book. specially with what i first hated DOM JONES. he was a shallow character, shady too yes he added an extra dimension to the story but still hated him so much. and what i hated too is how lisa turned gideon into a monster in a blink of an eye.
i mean he was the perfect cute caring guy, and suddenly he became this monster what what what was that about.
i loved loved the texture of the two stories. and the main story or the message in this book was finding yourself, who you are and where you belong. it's a come of age story with a dark twist to it.
i loved the two dimension arlette's and betty's and i would've though it was boring if it's only been betty's side of the story, though in the end arlette began to bore me and i was pacing myself for betty's chapter.
i loved loved the mystery and the plot twist and yeah i did not expect that at all the last piece of the puzzle. it's just one of these amazing structured plots that you still can't guess it until the end .

and the end the end was so so beautiful i cried
i loved it and i'm excited to read more of lisa jewell's work
