Deeply engrossing
I found this book hard to put down once I actually got to the meat of it. This is not faced pace by any means. Some of the lengthy details leave you scratching your head as to how they made it into the final cut. I enjoy his writing tremendously and liked the many nuances of small town living that he described.
Overall, a great read. However, it’s long-winded, the details are extrapolated tediously, and there is too much irrelevant background noise to give this 5 stars.
