Rookie Move by Sarina Bowen

4.0

Georgia and Leo dated in HS, but Georgia had a traumatic experience and she broke up with him. Fast forward, and Georgia is now a publicist for the Brooklyn Bruisers and trying to prove herself. Leo is called up from the AHL by the team's owner, but the coach--Georgia's father--lives to make life difficult for him. He's holding a grudge, and no one knows why. He's dead set against Georgia and Leo getting back together, and the countdown is on until the trade deadline when Leo could be traded away.

I'm rounding up to 4*s, but the book was more like 3.5*s. It was a little slow, and there were continuity problems. Sarina Bowen has come a long way since this book was written.
