What can I say? I really enjoyed this one.
I was suckered in by the cover before I realized that this is the same author of Electric Idol. It has that great bodice-ripper 90's book cover vibes that I needed it.
Sol is such a sweetie - a real cinnamonbun that could kill and I fell in love with him so much. So what if he's a dragon? He was very much a strong, reliable lead to Briar who had an abusive past that he never came across as intimidating to her but just loving.
Robert had me with the world building and the dialogue and I can't wait to get my copy of the next installment.
