I loved that this book was set in Harlem in the Jazz era!!! I really got tired Elise flipping back and forth in saving her family to saving her friend Layla😡. The 2nd thing that 😡me was the friendship/relationship between Elise and Layla. I need for book 2 come out to give my true opinion🫤
