While I was reading the first 50 pages of this book, I thought it might be my favorite book so far this year. I cried at one point. I loved the ideas that seemed to be popping up. The characters were interesting, witty, and well-rounded.

That didn't last. By the time I got halfway through the book, I was kind of bored. I had to make myself finish it, and although I still like the ideas of the book. I ended up not loving the dialogue, writing style, or structure.

I don't regret reading this, but it didn't live up to my high expectations.
