I am a female researcher in a male-dominated field so Felicity's motivations were super relatable for me and it was exciting to see that in a character. Of course I do not deal with 18th century sexism, but I have had some interactions eerily similar to a couple in this book.
Beyond being relatable to me personally, I also enjoyed the adventure in this book. My favorite part of these books has to be the character growth and relationship building though. I particularly enjoyed Felicity and Johanna's storyline in this one.
