Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
4.0

i really liked this book, even though i didnt understand the way it was written, i got the gist of it. i loved how we got to experience each girl's growth separately and how they all ended up together as a strong, united, bigger family. i loved jo's character, even though she ended up caving for love, i understand, everyone wants love. beth dying was so sad, even though i knew about it for years bc of friends, it was still sad, but i watched the movie scene and it was much sadder than how her death was written in the book, or i just wasn't mature enough to understand the way it was written. meg was on and off for me, like everyone wants to be rich, but she annoyed me so much when she spent her husband's hard earned money on a dress, like bruh. realistically i would want to do the same thing, which sucks, but reading about it made me angry, but like i couldn't be angry. amy was okay, i found it weird how laurie went from one sister to another but ok. but overall, it was enjoyable, it was very long too, but if it was any shorter i feel like the book would just be confusing bc of how much each sister is explained with the plot as they grew
