It started off good, but ended up being campy in a really cringe way. There’s a lot of repetition, back-and-forths with the same dialogue (🙄), and TBH — how are all these characters adults? Why are they all so stupid? Why can’t they just communicate like real people? If you don’t mind a little suspension of disbelief, try it maybe. Be ready for some really dumb scenes though.

Case in point: it’s a fast-paced read that you can finish in one-sitting if you need a break from your usual genres and don’t want to think too much. Or if you just need to tick off psychological thriller from your reading challenge. 

Only giving it another half star because of the ending, but can’t really say I didn’t see it coming. 🤷🏻‍♀️
