This was a really sweet, slow burn romance. Edwin is still getting over his break up with Marius. They were together for 10 years and they owned a house together. Now that house is under the threat of flooding. Enter Adam, an environmental engineer who’s there to keep the houses safe. Adam and Edwin have a sweet interaction and they kind of hit off. Edwin has doubts because of his stutter,  his previous relationship and the stress of his house flooding. The characters really come alive in the wonderful dialogues, including the neighbor,  Mrs P.
