On the scale of Romantasy, I think this book does a pretty good job! The tropes are familiar but put together in a new package, which I liked. The sex scenes were hot if gratuitously magical.
Big emphasis on fae court, scrappy female lead, touch her and you die male lead, lots of use of male/female instead of men/women.
Magic system was at times arbitrary and not in an intentional way I think. Some plot lines and skills were pretty underdeveloped. All in all I had fun but wouldn’t reread.

Graphic: Physical abuse, Violence, Police brutality, Murder
Moderate: Infertility, Suicidal thoughts, Torture, Blood, Death of parent, Sexual harassment, War
It’s a book where there is war, oppressive evil regimes, and resources scarcity leading to the above trigger warnings.
Detailed warnings below
everyone’s parents got murdered and one parent murder is shown in flashbacks. Lots of war between fae and vampires with lots of zombie/vampire “Feeders” wandering around eating people. The police in the starting city gruesomely near-murder the main character while she’s tied up. There’s also sexual harrassment of sex workers (FMC’s mom) and of the MMC by the main male villain.
