Look, I know JLA is hit and miss for a lot of people but I love this series.

For me, the characters are really well written and their banter and interactions make you fall in love with them.

Poppy is fierce and sassy and despite being mislead and sheltered her whole life, really strives to understand and see the truth in the situations she finds herself in.

The spice in this book is mild but delicious, I really enjoy the way these scenes are written and it reflects Poppy’s inexperience perfectly.

And Casteel, you have to love him as the layers start to peel away and Poppy discovers the truth behind the rumours.
