This was a love letter to black women and their hair and I LOVED it. The friendship between these black women were written with so much love and the way their stories connected worked perfectly. The friends getting their hair done and having their wash days were very relatable -there is no leaving the house on wash day! My favorite part was the "Group Chat" chapter with the way the women's responses to Nisha's retelling of her night were drawn in like her friends were there- it was so clever! I need to see more from this author and series!!!
