The Rainmaker by John Grisham
3.0

It was quite a slow start, but by the middle of it I got super invested. I mean, I didn't even think that the monotony and complications of becoming a lawyer could be interesting, but the author made it work really well. However, the ending, for lack 0f a better word, was absolutely trash. It really came out of nowhere and didn't even remotely make sense. I feel like it should have stopped where the main plotline finished, rather than messily tying up the knots to any side problems. Overall though, it taught me a lot about the world of law from a first person perspective, and it's worth a read if you want to learn the struggles of the profession along with being entertained.
