Middle of the road adventure story with lots of familiar elements and some huge logic leaps. Not only did our 5-year son old predict the ending but asked for us to skip the aftermath in order to start on the next adventure in the series. He likes the build up but not what he calls the "blah-blah-blah."
It is a challenge to find books that appeal to boys in this age group so we are happy that BQ fits the bill.
