The last quarter of this book made me want to take multiple showers and also do a spiritual detox and cleanse my mind.
This book is well written, but also unnecessarily a bit long. Taking place in Delhi, it's a story of an ultra wealthy son of an Indian businessman/mobster. This book peels back the layers of corruption and violence in modern day India with the classic tropes of sex and drugs and crazy parties.
I didn't super love reading about this crazy rich guy completely destroying himself and corrupting everyone that crosses his path and seeing how low humanity can go. There was nothing redeeming about any of the characters and I couldn't elicit any sympathy for any of them either, but perhaps that was the point. It was still a page turner though but not sure about it. I did appreciate it showing the very dark and corrupt side of India though.
