I don’t know how it happened, but Daddy Leo has taken the top book boyfriend spot from Nixon for this series and maybe almost out of all Bella’s books! This book was everything that I could have wanted.
Adelaide is struggling really hard as a single mom of 2 young kids. She can’t seem to catch a break. Leo plays hockey for the Revolution and when he gets brought in to help teach the hockey tots he meets and quickly falls for Izzy, Addie’s daughter. Leo meets Addie and he instantly knows that she is meant to be his. Addie on the other hand is staying far far away from love. That is until it is suggested that Addie marries Leo to get her money. Leo is all in, he figures he can marry Addie and slowly convince her to date him and Leo slowly won her over and proved to her that nice men really do exist.
I absolutely loved all the scenes with Leo and Izzy & Lennox, especially when Lennox would be sleeping on Leo’s chest. Addie showed a lot of growth within herself and I was so proud of her for it. This book was full of all the swoon. Of course you get the group chat banter between all the siblings. Then we got hit with some surprises that really heated up the intensity.
