I’ve got to say the character development of Noah and Vic was so well done. It made it really easy to love the characters and the way they slowly became entwined in each other’s life was so sweet to see the relationship go from fake to real. They were so tender with each other and handled the dark days so carefully while trying not to impose but just make their presence a reminder that they weren’t alone.

The found family aspect to the book was heartwarming, seeing as Vic’s family was horrible to her and left her emotionally battered, the girls stepped up and helped to show her she deserved to be happy. Aunt Lou with her witty remarks were so funny.

Tess was so stinkin adorable. I also can’t get over the large, baby wearing man I was melting over the imagery. I still think Olaf was a voice recorder or something to get the conversation…

This book can be read as a standalone, is apart of an interconnected series that I’m going to have to immediately read I also need Jude’s book immediately.
