Rant by Chuck Palahniuk
3.0

Over two books (this and Lullaby) I've really grown to enjoy Chuck Palahniuk. This book is told is bits and pieces, from the accounts of various people on the life of Buster "Rant" Casey. Imagine what the telescript might look from your average biographical documentary, then subtract any one consistent or authoritative narrator and you have the structure of this book.

With that, the story is told rather seamlessly as we work through typical Palahniuk subjects: rabies, the possibility of time travel and a more or less "fight club" version of kids cruising in their cars, here referred to as "party crashing".

It is an enjoyable and quick read, for anyone who appreciates a rather dark sense of humor.
