The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo

5.0

I used to dislike this book, I thought it was too sad and thought the overall plot was pointless. I reread it again, as usual, and I’m really glad I did. This isn’t just about a china rabbit who has a change of heart through a series of events, it shows how he learns to love and feel, and what our purpose is in life. The author shows Edward’s progress, first he only feels emotions like annoyance and pride, next sadness and loneliness, slowly he learns what it feels like to be loved, which leads to him learning how to love, until, at the end, he learns how to want to care for someone because of how much you love them. I would really recommend this book.
