yall. when they said this book was like the hunger games but with magic they did. not. lie.
this book was fast paced, exciting, bloody, and magical.
the world building was immaculate and the characters were all interesting and yet complicated in their own ways. sometimes you wanted to scream at them and other times they just needed a hug, especially my boy Alistair.
I don't want want give any spoilers but the way I was suspicious about that man from the start and had a feeling he was the one behind it all! ugh I just finished the book and I want want reread it already. definitely 5/5 stars :)
