This was an incredibly emotional read but, at the same time, completely worth it. You get the emotionally broken hero but with the sassy FMC. Then add in opposites attract. Just so much that was great. I love Fiona so much, but I connect more with Caleb. I understand his thought process. How he always believed it was his job to protect his loved ones. Be prepared this book will pull at your heartstrings and drag you through it all.
