Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders by Neil Gaiman

2.0

I've read a few of Gaiman's books now, and would consider myself a fan for the most part. I like his style, and how endearingly he can portray what others might see as morbid.
But as for Fragile Things, I just didn't enjoy it. There were a couple great stories, but for the most part I just felt a little creeped out, and not in a good way. Not necessarily the author's fault, I just do not normally enjoy that type of genre.
I also have concluded for certain that I am not a fan of short stories. I never feel satisfied when they are finished. To me, it's like a conversation has ended in the middle.
So, the combination of feeling creeped out and not being sated made me not want to finish the book. So, I haven't. I gave it a shot and I did not really enjoy it. I will certainly try more of Gaiman's books, but probably no more short story compilations.
