This is book two of a duet within a series. The story continues while they try taking down a criminal ring. Rafael struggles with who he is and if he can be who Lexie needs. They both sort through their emotions and feelings. Just when they think they can breathe, trouble ignites again. Will Rafa and Lexie survive?
This book was long with not much excitement until the last 20% or so. However, it was written really well and I hung onto every word. It was kind of telling two peoples stories but behind the scenes. I only wish we had more info on certain events and what transpired. The spicy scenes were hot, hot, hot and I ultimately enjoyed this book. I also appreciated the longer epilogues which were highly satisfying.
