Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku, Vol. 1 by Fujita

2.0

2.75 ⭐️ I enjoyed it; however I wish that naru and hirotaka showed more affection, especially considering that the manga is done (I think), just because I love them so much. Though I have come to understand, after reading a couple of other reviews, that it's super realistic and true to the characters' personalities. If they were super affectionate and loving, it would be out of character. I binged the anime since I wouldn't be buying the rest of the series, and it was sweet to watch their slow development into themselves and how they view their relationships.

It did bother me a little, though, that Naru kept saying how she just didn't find Hirotaka attractive LOL and that Kayonagi and Kabakura kept thinking of Naru and Hirotaka in desirable (?) ways? Kabakura was so mean at times too, and overall the perverse comments kinda bothered me sometimes, they seemed a bit tasteless.

Also feels like there is so much story to fulfill ): but alas, it's okay - it's the author's life and project, and what they created already is really cute and lovely.
