I will never not love the main characters that Duckie creates for this series. Collin and Harper were so sweet together and I loved watching them both find their happily ever-after with each other and within their community.
Duckie always writes the sweetest of characters, and Harper and Collin definitely fit the bill. I spent the entirety of this book just wishing Collin and Harper were real and the sort of people I could befriend in reality. In the older, caretaker role, Collin was just the best boyfriend, friend, and grandson. And I loved watching Harper come into his own and learn more about his path and career going forward.
This was a love story, but more importantly, this was a story about found family and finding yourself. There were so many great new characters to meet in this book, but I absolutely loved seeing cameos from so many past characters as well. This sweet romance can easily be read as a standalone (if you're here for the crocheting) but it also makes for a great addition to the Heartcraft Market series.
This is one of my favorite books in this series, and I can't wait to see what Duckie has in store for the next book.
