I really enjoyed the author's use of tattoos and tarot throughout this book, especially since these references were true to life and not a completely made-up deck of cards or card meanings as seen in some books by other authors. Happy to see Violet and Nico's story played out as they had cropped up in other books within the Stay a Spell series and piqued my interest.
