West
Solider to his core, it’s all he ever wanted all he ever dreamed about, he worked hard to get where he’s at, loved his job and his unit which included his best friend Brandt. As a leader he has learned to trust his instincts and they are screaming at him that something is unsettled on a mission. One moment and his entire life changed, he lost everything and everyone except Brandt. His best friend is right by his side while he struggles to recover from a life changing injury and fights for the will to live, Brandt is his rock, he’s his light in the darkness. West wasn’t expecting to fall for his best friend, to have something more. He can’t live without Brandt so he live for him, love for him, fight for him.

Brandt
This big gentle giant is a fantastic marksman, he loves his job and the fact that he gets to serve with his best friend West, makes everyday exciting. He’s always noticed West, noticed how beautiful he is, handsome, funny and charming. Through recovery his feelings grow, he couldn’t think of anyone more perfect of a match for him than the fierce leader, West. Navigating their new and exciting relationship while on the journey of healing comes with its ups and downs but West is worth it, he’s Brandt’s soulmate, his solider, his strength.

How do you come back from war? You lean on your best friend, your soulmate, the love of your life. You borrow his strength and trust him to hold you up when you’re weak.
Proof of life. Proof of love. Proof of everything.
