I was interested in this book the whole way through and couldn't wait to see how the conflict would resolve. But I was left disappointed because none of the characters have enough redeeming qualities to get past their problems. I know the world has a lot of terrible people in it and the intention for this is to be realistic, but I like to have a more optimistic outlook. Big downer from J.K. Rowling.
