This is the second in a series about Maddie, a kid's shoe designer, that has a hunky cop for a sort-of boyfriend. This time her dad contacts her after many years. turns out he is a drag queen in Vegas, that must be where Maddie gets her love of shoes.
While the book is good, sometimes I wonder about female characters and their ability to get into so much trouble even when asked to not do something that would land them in that hot spot. So in that respect, her character irritates me.
