Jessie is working for the Russian mob as a hacker when four men storm the compound, killing everyone inside. A hacker, she promises to work for the men if they spare her life. They take her and she soon learns that the four men are the Ryan brothers, the heads of the Irish mafia. As Jessie works for them, she divulges that the reason she was working for the Russian's was to find a man called 'The Wolf' who killed her family and kept her captive for years. As the Ryan brothers learn more about Jessie, they also start to fall for her...including Shane, the eldest and most dangerous of the brothers.

This was the second time I read this book, and the first time I listened on audio. Of the two, I prefer reading it as the narrators just didn't quite do it for me. This quick, spicy read ends on a cliffhanger and I immediately jumped into book two. One of the things I always worry about when reading a Why Choose is if each MMC will be fully developed with their own distinct personality and traits. Well, Sadie Kincaid knocked this one out of the park. Each brother has his own personality, voice, and characteristics. Jessie was strong and independent, and a true pleasure to read.

This is a really quick read, so be prepared to finish it in a day and then immediately jump to book 2 like I did!
