Wow, I related to Evie so much, in more ways than one. The teenage angst. The sectioning. The compulsions. The desperate desire to be normal but your illnesses completely taking control. I really connected with Evie and felt for her. I thought the book was well paced and I loved the different dynamics between the characters. It felt like I was back in college myself. I love that the book sheds light on ocd, which isn’t often talked about and is so misunderstood. I really thought that Guy might have had some big revelation or more depth to him as a character, and I wasn’t too keen on Jane or Joel and definitely didn’t like how Jane treated Evie, but I feel the book came to an end right where it needed to.
