Man what a great finish to a series, I don’t think I’ve seen a group of characters change so much in a series. Spoilers ahead bcs I’m on mobile and don’t feel like typing out the little thing!
  • Savine man I was always jumping between loving and hating her. I think the symbolism of her mental state and fencing was great (also her parallels with ardee, this trilogy loves parallels)
  • Fuck you Leo, but your parallels with Glotka are SPOT on, we get a glimps of perhaps how glotka was in his youth.
  • No words for Orso he’s my homie, got done awfully but still stayed a great dude.
  • Rikke is meh, just meh. She always felt like a manic pixie dream girl to me idk, wish we had more of Cainwel I think rikke was the least interesting to me.
  • Vicks chapters were my favorites, her devopment, and how she really parralells with Fero :( loved when she just sprinted out of glotkas office.
  • Broad man man man. Poor dude I think he matched up with logen (or possibly west?) Being a good man driven to do bad things over and over (reminded me of Sandor Clegane, but broad is a tad bit softer)
Overall a great trillogy, masterfully done and got me out of a reading slump. I actually liked this trillogy more than the og trillogy.
